Summary: Go Ask Alice is about a typical teenager with obstacles to overcome due to her use of drugs. She faces the usual anxieties of a crush on a boy, peer pressure, social acceptance, her weight and self esteem.
Today I will tell you about the book that I read. It is called Go Ask Alice. The book/diary was written during the Vietnam War. The author of this book is anonymous. Though the author is anonymous, some believe it is Beatrice Sparks, one of the book's editors. The narrarator, we've come to know, is "Alice."

This story is basically about a girl who gets hooked on drugs. It talks about the obstacles she has to get around while she is on drugs and the strength she needed to try to get off.

Alice is a "typical" teenager. The story opens with Alice dealing with somewhat relevant issues as some of us do today. For example, she worries about boys, acceptance from her peers, her weight, and her family. At her school, she worries about what her crush thinks of her and she explains her discomforts there...
