Considered by many to be a holy struggle, opposition against the United States and its influences is rooted in Koranic "miseducation", the U.S' vehement pro-Israeli stance, and its perceived controlling presence in Middle Eastern territories. Many Islamic extremists sincerely believe that they're locked into an Islamic Jihad against the U.S and its spreading influence and feel that they can use the Koran to back up and justify the positions they hold. Additionally, the U.S. governments' firm support for Israel, seen continued for generations in U.S. foreign policy, has only further entrenched the ideology seeded in hatred. However, the largest factor contributing to anti-U.S. terrorism is ultimately the enduring "Hitler Effect", or the embodiment of domestic troubles as result of economic and political desperation, seen throughout the Middle East. Until there is a clear and visible alteration to America's standing in the global scheme...
