In 1919, Eva Durante known as "Evita" to most of the world was born to Juana lbarguren and Juan Duarte. She was only seven years old when her father died and her mother was left to care for Evita along with her five brothers and sisters, alone. They were an extremely poor family that lived together in a one-room shack.
