Multiculturalism: A Personal Essay

Vancouver, known for its beautiful scenery and extremely fresh air, is often referred to as a 'cultural mosaic.' With an influx of immigrants during the late 18th century to the beginning of the 19th century, Canada began to swarm with diversity of races. It is now one of the countries with the most immigrants, and Vancouver attributes to at least a quarter of that reputation. Vancouver boasts its large number of immigrants and their population accounts for a quarter of the reputation. There are many advantages and disadvantages that may result from cultural diversity, but I believe that the benefits will outweigh the drawbacks by far.
