Rite of Passage
Summary: A rite of passage is more than a journey or a sort of initiation. It is a venture from what someone was, to what that person will be. It is difficult and sometimes dangerous; but it syumbolizes one's growth into adulthood.
Everybody had experienced several rites of passages at some point in their lives. It is the thing that led us to what we are right now. You might not realize the rite of passage when it came, but it would affect you greatly. Usually, rites of passages are sad, and hard to deal with, when you've figured out how to get out of it, you have matured. Rites of passages aren't rare, they happen anytime. Losing a close relative, moving away, doing a thing for the first time and trying to improve are all examples of rites of passages anyone would undergo.
I'm sure that I've experienced many rites of passages in my life so far, but the harshest one, which I'm going to write about is moving to Australia when I was ten. I couldn't forget how tough it was at first. Moving into a country where...
