Every year, March 8 is celebrated around the world as International Women's Day, to recognize the importance of women and to support one another. Violence against women is a universal problem that daily affects millions of women of every age, race and class. The report, issued by the U.N. Population Fund, notes that conditions for women have improved since 1994, when 179 countries met and pledged to do more for their female citizens. It's the 21st century the women of the 3rd World countries deserve the same respect and freedom that most of the woman in the developed countries have.
