I do not think that it is discriminatory to require drivers older than 80 years old to pass a special driving test. In fact, I think elderly drivers should take driving tests earlier and more frequently.

It is a known fact that as people get older, their health deteriorates. Elderly people often have hearing problems, vision problems, and many other medical related issues that could possibly affect their ability to drive safely. While this is not the case for all older people, it is for many. By making all drivers over the age of 80 have to take the test, they can determine who should still be driving, and who shouldn't still be driving.
