Summary: A biography of NASCAR racing champion Dale Earnhardt.
Dale's first race was at Concord speedway and his car was a `56 Ford Club sedan. The color of it was supposed to be a sort of avocado but the paint, wrongly mixed, turned out pink. Dale's first year racing was a year to try things he out to see what he could do. He crashed a lot though. His second year he got a new car, a `56 Falcon. He did a lot better and didn't crash as much. The next year James Miller, the owner of the `56 Falcon, sold the car to the Russell brothers. Dale went with them. The move was good for Dale. The Russell brothers had a new and better car for Dale to drive though. That year he won 17 races and the year after he won 36.
