The Principles of Good Narrative Writing
Summary: Alison Lohans' short story "The Michelle I Know" contains two important principles of good narrative writing that make it interesting, emotional, and compelling. Lohans ended the story the way a good story is supposed to end; and she used dialogues correctly throughout her story.
In the short story, The Michelle I Know, the author expresses many of the Principles of Good Narrative Writing. However, there are two principles that the author articulated the most. The first principle that the author, Alison Lohans, used was that good stories are written by writers who know how to end. The second principle that she used was that good stories are told by writers who use dialogues correctly. The author used these principles to write her story and that is two of the many reasons why her story came out exceptionally well written.
