Summary: Norbert Nimpkin, performed in Toronto and also available on video, is well written and acted. It has a great plot, amazing acting, technical aspects, few innovative aspects, an excellent setting and a deep message. This production is probably well liked among young viewers.
Critique of "Norbert Nimpkin"

This was a juvenile, excellent play in the eyes of a young audience. It had an entertaining plot, great acting and amazing technical aspects. Also there were a few innovative aspects, a creative setting and it had a useful message in this enjoyable production.

This plot has a tense problem and a resolution, the characters were also terrific and the climax was thrilling. A type of creature called Nimpkins are introduced as kind and harmless animals that live in the forest. In the rocky hills, another type of animal lives called Slogs. We are told that the Slogs are thought to be rude, dangerous creatures and are feared among all Nimpkins. One afternoon a Slog named Grawg is forced by her father to go hunting for Nimpkins. After being in a forest for quite a while he stubbles into a Nimpkin named Norbert. They...
