To Investigate the Effect of Temperature on the Reaction between Rennin and Milk
In this investigation, I am trying to find out how temperature affects the rate at which Rennin clots milk. To do this I shall place a predetermined amount of Rennin into a boiling tube containing milk. I shall repeat this several times, each boiling tube at different temperatures and each time recording the time taken to clot. I will record the results both in a table and in a graph to give a clear view of the results.
I expect that when the temperature is lower than thirty seven degrees, the rate will be slow, gradually increasing as the temperature nears Rennin's optimum.
