Top Man: Compare and Contrast Essay

Summary: In the short story "Top Man," which was written by James Ramsey Ullman, eight climbers attempted to climb the fourth highest peak in the world, located in India, which is known as Kalpurtha. This huge mass of rock located in the Himalayas is at an altitude of 28,900 feet. The two main character's Paul Osborn, the American and Martin Nace, the Englishman, share many similarities and differences, which cause conflicts and tension throughout the story.
