Court of Execution
Summary: Many wonder whether death sentence is the oppropriate or not. Execution is a very serious word in politics. It is a word that implies the meaning of putting to death as a legal penalty, hence dying because one has offended the law in some way. The world consists of approximately 6,446,131,400 people, all with their own opinion about execution and how people whom have violated the law should be punished.
The path leading to the scaffold was extremely rough, people stood all surrounding a large square in Paris; all were here to attend one purpose, to watch the execution take place. The machine used to execute people during the French revolution, and in other areas around the world was the guillotine. It was a decapitating machine that was named after a French physician by the name of Joseph Ignace Guillotin, whom lived from 1738 to 1814. He has proposed its use in 1789. It consists of two upright posts, ridged on the inside and connected at the top by a crossbeam. A sharp, oblique blade, placed between the grooves, is held at the top of the machine by a rope.
