Identity; How to Find It?
Summary: Parental identity shapes you as a youth. Their perception of your identity is different from your realtity.
It would be fair to say that the will of the majority of human beings is partially to create for themselves, a sense of identity. The desire of the person may be to be recognized as an individual, with the ultimate goal being; the achievement of inability to succumb to categorization. On the other hand, certain persons may feel that in order to obtain a sense of identity, they must possess characteristics that are common to another particular segment of society. Either way, a sense of identity is of the utmost importance. But the struggle to attain a sense of identity, individual identity in particular, is largely hindered by parental influences. I would like to be that respected individual that is often looked at by her peers as the one with virtues too numerous to list, and with characteristics about her that cannot help but to be described...
