In the movie Gattaca, it explores the unforeseen possibilities and consequences of discrimination against those that are not genetically modified. In the quote, "Consider what God has done: Who can straighten what he has made crooked," it shows that imperfections makes the substance of who a person really is. Even though God has made some mistakes concerning the human body, it is not society's role to pass their limitation. Whether God mistakenly created those with imperfections or he intended them to serve another purpose, crossing man's limitation will only lead to doom. If society accomplishes the ability to manipulate genes to their desire, it would be used for destruction rather than for the good of man.
