Older Women in America Deserve Better Than They Get!
The elderly face problems they often never worried about when they were young. At twenty, or thirty, or forty, they were, in general, healthy. They had jobs in their youth and often times, usually, husbands with income. Most had family and children and they were very active. They were busy working, raising their children, and looking after their homes and their home life.
It becomes much different for them when they become old. They often have problems with their health, finances, loneliness, and depression.
Women, in general, and statistics will verify this; earn far less money over the period of their working years, than men. Consequently, they are usually less able to save money to help sustain them in their old age. Also, because of their lower earnings, less money gets contributed to their social security accounts.
