The autobiography of Anthony Kiedis', Scar Tissue, is a story of fame, fortune, extremes, drugs and deep depression. Anthony's life from the outside appears to be one of success but his innermost thoughts revealed in Scar Tissue demonstrate the great price he paid for his life as the Red Hot Chili Pepper's lead singer for 22 years. Many people have suggested that the life Anthony Kiedis lived was one of wealth, fun and fame, however as depicted throughout his autobiography his unremitting lifestyle has been extremely detrimental to his relationships and his mental and physical health.
