Introduction

Tea is a significant symbol of Chinese culture that has long history. It is popular in Macao for a long time and has become part of our lives. In this project, we focus on examining the folklore of tea, its discovery, and its usage other than drinking. We have interviewed four people including three tea shop owners, Mr. Pun, Mr. Tseng, Mr. Lu, and an apprentice, Miss Cheng. Although they are in different age grading, they all have great enthusiasm in tea. Our project will be divided into five parts which are the history and legend of tea, the methods of making tea, its taboos and its usage.
