The main portrayal of an allusion is through the mysterious character, Simon. In many forms, Simon is an individual whose life closely relates to Jesus'. Many things about Simon are spiritual and provide a parallel to Jesus such as his physical characteristics and image, his personality, and the manner in which he dies.
