Marketing is the total of activities involving the moving of goods from the producer to the consumer, including selling, advertising, and research. Marketing also involves tailoring, pricing, promoting, and distributing the product. Marketing can be known as a pervasive career, which is why it requires such skills that I have.
For this career, higher education is an absolute must, because it leads to a job that lets you know how business is really done. As marketing has become increasingly more complex, a need has arisen for executives to be trained in the social sciences aside from statistics, mathematics, and computer science. Many colleges and universities now have programs designed to train marketing executives. Courses are offered at the undergraduate and the graduate level in such specialized field as advertising, administrative practices, financial management, production, human relations, retailing and personnel administration.
