Summary: Analyze he role of women in the growth of America before 1750.
The role of women was drastically different, in different societies, throughout America. Settlement of all races began popping up throughout the eastern coast of America, where many Native Americans already lived. Settlers from different countries brought with them their own ideas and beliefs about how life should be, and how people in the societies should be treated. America was the melting pot of societies from all over the world. The diversity throughout the country explains why women from one part of the country were treated so differently from women from another part of the country. Native Americans, African Americans, Northern, and Southern Caucasian women were all treated differently, and had different roles in their societies.
