Summary: Reviews the book "Crazy Lady" by Jane Leslie Conly. Provides a detailed summary of the novel's plot.
When I finished reading this book, I found out some good news and some bad news about Maxine and her son, Ronald. Vernon went over by Miss Annie's house and she told him that she wanted him to help Maxine and Ronald plant a garden. Even though Vernon was mad at Maxine for cursing at, he still did what Miss Annie asked him to. He told her that they haven't been getting along for awhile. I think that Miss Annie is trying to make Vernon get closer with Maxine because she knows that Maxine didn't have many friends and people to talk to. When Vernon got to Maxine's house, she didn't talk to him. I didn't think that Maxine was being reasonable for getting mad and not talking to Vernon.
