During this movie the viewer witness the story of Andrew Beckett, a homosexual lawyer and AIDS patient in who lives in Philadelphia. Beckett believes that he has been fired because he has AIDS and tries to sue the law firm that he used to work for. The viewer and see the countless amounts of ignorance and hate that were projected on Andrew Beckett simply because the people around him were scared. It shows how HIV/AIDS really affects every aspect of your life once you are contracted with it. It affects you physically, mentally, and socially.
