Although this article may seem to be unrelated to the "Community" Core Democratic Value, it is actually quite a strong example of the "Community" value. You most likely have a misconception because it involves viruses and attacking companies. This is a very special situation. The victim which just happens to be a company who has violated multiple license agreements, caused multi-million dollar losses to multiple companies, and has continually lied about people being mean to them. This company says that it is the "rightful" owner of "UNIX" and operating system. Before SCO "claimed" UNIX, UNIX made parts of its architecture open source, meaning that all of us had access to its code. Thus, Linux was born.
