Summary: Questions what it means to be Pyschologically Fit. Explores the issue of depression and examines what is necessary to avoid it.

To be psychologically fit, one should be of sound mind, body and spirit. Some people out there are unfortunate to be stricken with such illness due to drugs, brain chemistry, depression and anxiety or even mental retardation at birth. To be fit is basically the opposite of that. I believe that it would be necessary to have friends, and to socialize with other people and not exclude yourself from social groups. By knowing that you have a warm loving family you can turn to, one shouldn't be depressed because they have relationship trouble or because they can't get their way. If you keep doing things that you love doing, then that demonstrates that you are not depressed. If you have friends, it shows that you don't keep to yourself and bury your emotions, which could possibly harm you later on in life. People tend to be depressed but...
