If Canada and the United States were to join into one nation, it would be something that would affect everybody, not only in these countries but also worldwide. If they did unite, there would be many positive and many negative things to come out of it. Here, I will try to explain to you my point of view concerning this matter.

First some Pro's to having Canada become a part of the United States. Obviously if we were a state of one of the strongest countries in the world (if not the strongest) it would give us much better protection from threats or war from other countries. Another pro is that we would be a much wealthier country. The United States has an extremely large and thriving economy.
