Ever since I was a child, my academic interests and passions have lied in science. I remember when I was in the third grade, our teacher asked us to list ten professions that we will consider as adults. I had put down ten different careers in medicine. At that time I did not know much except for what I saw on television or learned in Science class. As I matured, my thoughts certainly expanded. I began to investigate what sort of activities interest me by becoming involved in various programs. However my underlying passion for medicine remained the same, as those activities simply served to fuel my interests.
