China's government has gone through numerous changes in the past decades that has significantly influenced what is accepted within their culture. Communist policies in suppressing social beliefs in the China have lead to the destruction of many social groups. This oppression is demonstrated in the persecutions and banning of the spiritual exercise of Falun Gong.

Establishment

After struggling to put Communism into affect, Mao Zedong had taken political control over China as he became the Chairman of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and began promoting its ideals. In 1938, Japan had gained controlled over a large majority of Northeast China.
