Analysis of a Film Trailer
Summary: Analyzes the theatrical trailer for the film A Knight's Tail. Describes how different elements of the short film combine to capture the viewer's imagination.
I will be analysing a film trailer called a knights tale. I will be commenting on the different elements of the film trailer and talk about what the film trailer had in it.
Captions of a film trailer are specifically chosen to catch the viewer's eye. When captions are used text isn't used. The captions are fast and show glimpses in what's going on in the scene.
Usually every single film has a voice over in the knights it was a man with a deep professional voice. The words are very short and he talks about every 2 minutes. Text and dialogues are also not used when the man is speaking. Voice overs are usually used because the person speaking makes the film sound interesting.
Knight's tale had many different genres and I was quite surprised because I thought it was going to be a violent fairy tale but...
