Over the years, women have been able to vote and do much of the same things men are able to do. In 1920, women were finally given the right to vote. They fought for their suffrage for seventy-two years. In that time of their struggle for suffrage, women went through many obstacles to get where they are today. The movement of Women's Rights had a mixed impact in society because of the different and wide spread reactions people had. Some people felt that the movement was an excellent one, while others were fed up with the amount of rights women had in common with men.
