Chesapeake Voyage
Fitzhugh arrived later, and didn't truly love Rosalind, but she loved him. Rosalind was a strong person from within since she was a little girl. She was ugly when young and her family would always say something along the lines of wait till you fall in your place. Mark another member of the steed family was taken upon by Roz and she treated him like her son along with Evelyn. Fitzhugh even cheated on Rosalind with Nelly Turlock, and news that she was to be whipped in public made he stop the public whippings. Rosalind was raised in a rich family, yet I see her inner beauty even thought they describe her as horrendous because she isn't like her sister whos never read a book, just sits and does nothing dwindling her life away being just a housewife with her rich husband.
