Tupac Shakur After Tupac Shakur's shooting in 1996, many fans were convinced that he was still alive. It seemed as though he was not scared to die and he expressed his feelings of death in almost all of his albums. Although he was "dead", his record company released seven new records after his death which is more than they released from him then when he was alive. All of these went gold or platinum except for the most recent one. Most people assume Tupac is still alive because they never saw any funeral or casket, and if there was a funeral, it was never in the news ("Tupac's legacy" 1).
