Julius Caesar: Comparison of the Speeches by Antony and Brutus
Julius Caesar was returning to Rome following the death of Pompey. The commoners left their workplaces and gathered in the streets to celebrate the return of the great Caesar to Rome, but the roman tribunes are concerned about Caesars growing power. Flavius and Murellus the roman tribunes are on trying to get everybody back to work, and trying to break up the party to rejoice Caesars triumph.
