The English Reformation and Calvinist movements can be closely related as protestors against the Catholic faith. These two movements also hold their own important differences. Their differences included their church structures and the peoples' reasons to join these movements. The two groups have significant religious variances ranging from the religious integrity of their leaders and how far away these movements pushed themselves from the Catholic religion. John Calvin and King Henry VIII of England even began their religious movements for different reasons. Though the English reformation was similar in appearance to the Calvinist movement, a deeper look will reveal crucial differences.
