The big day finally arrived -- the day our school was to take us on a trip to one of Dubai's largest water parks, Aqualand. Since I was really looking forward to it, I got up earlier than usual.

When the bus arrived to pick us up, my sister and I grabbed our handbags and jumped aboard, looking forward to a good trip with our friends and teachers. Along the way we took pictures of the beautiful landscape.

It began to rain and this prompted quite a few of us to either put our heads or hands out the bus windows to enjoy the rain. But our initial excitement over the rain soon turned to concern... what if the park was closed because of the rain?
