The government should start putting more criminals to death. I'm not talking about just any criminals, though. I mean the murderers and the big drug lords and such. The criminals that are in prison for the rest of their lives. Since 1967, there has been one execution for every 1600 murders, or 0.06%. There have been approximately 560,000 murders and 358 executions from 1967-1996. That's a lot of murderers that are still alive. Those are the criminals that should be put to death instead of sitting in jail for life.

First of all, most of these murderers and criminals deserve to be put to death. Then another benefit is that the government would save money on all the food that the death row people would be eating.
