The British Colonisation of America

When what we now know as America was first discovered, hundreds of years ago, colonisation was always the next step on the way to the goals of explorers. The powerful British were to succeed in their goals of foreseen colonisation, but had a long battle to journey through. To this new land they brought not only themselves but also new life, diseases, many battles and war, change and pain for many native colonies. Their journey was not an easy one and many problems were faced such as war, not only with the Native Americans but also other competing European nations. New ways of life and new things to learn. Also the beginning of the American Revolution weighing on the government.
