The Inefficiencies that hinder "our" UN.

The UN is deemed a failure as it no longer sufficiently performs its objectives set out in the initial stages of its development. As well as being unsuccessful in fulfilling perceived objectives we have of them. Easily pin pointed throughout recent history are mistakes and debacles made by the UN which call for reform. Essentially there are three apparent intricacies preventing the UN from carrying out these objectives, firstly various voting structures, secondly internal politics and thirdly lack of commitment. The UN is a failure because it is hamstrung by inefficient and inappropriate beaurocratic mechanisms. Times have changed, so has the political climate of the global community and the current setup of the UN is neither practical nor sustainable.
