Being an empowered Hispanic youth in the United States has several meanings. It means having more opportunities to be successful in life. It means having to work harder than the youth of this country to reach our goals. It means fighting for the chance of receiving higher education, and it also means being part of two different worlds working hard to make a difference in our Hispanic community.

As a Hispanic youth in the United States, I consider that being part of this group is a blessing.
