The Cuban Missile Crisis was the most difficult thirteen days in American history. During October of 1962, President John F. Kennedy made a choice regarding the Cuban Missile Crisis that affected the entire country. He had the decision to carry out a surgical air strike against Cuba or support a naval quarantine. Although Kennedy had the conclusive voice, the Executive Committee and many other important officials helped the President make the ultimate decision. Every person that Kennedy met with had their own solutions to the problem of the Soviet missiles in Cuba.
