The Courage of Thurgood Marshall
Summary: An essay about the many courageous acts of African American lawyer Thurgood Marshall before he became Chief Justice of the United States. Discusses his Civil Rights era work and his landmark case Brown vs. Board of Education.
Thurgood Marshall is a black lawyer living in the city with his wife. He has faced a major problem in his life in which he gets to fight for people like him who have been discriminated against for being African-American. Many times, Thurgood Marshall has shown that he is truly a courageous person by being dedicated to his goals and being ambitious and competent. I believe that people like Thurgood Marshall has a very rare type of personality since not very many people are as determined as him.
Though I have many beliefs why Thurgood Marshall is courageous, my main reason would be that Thurgood is ambitious.
