A disease is a condition that prevents or stops the body or any of its parts from working well.
What is an Infectious disease"
Infectious diseases are those that can be spread or transferred to one organism to another
Examples- cold, influenza, rabies, STD'S and chicken pox
Infectious diseases may be passed on in a number of different ways; they are usually the result of contact with another organism that is infected. Stopping the spread of infectious diseases can only be achieved by knowing how they are transmitted.
What is a non-infectious disease"
A non-infectious disease is a disease that cannot be spread from one person to another
Examples- diabetes, cancer, obesity, asthma and arthritis
