Wish You Well is a book about life in a pastoral community, life that most of us will never experience thanks to the industrialization and modernization of even the most rural of towns. It is a story of a family befallen by tragedy, about two children, learning new ways to live, and a story to explain how taxing life can be. Two children, Lou and Oz, are the main characters in this book. They live out the tragedies, devotion, and ultimately sacrifice that accompany their grandmother's way of living. The author of this book, David Baldacci, was in essence trying to portray how life was, can be, and will be for some people.
