Summary: Essay performs an analysis of the movie "Shrek."

Hosted by DreamWorks, Shrek conveys a great value of love and friendship. Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) plays an ideal role of an ogre determined to get his swamp back.

Meeting a blabbering donkey on the way (played by Eddie Murphy), this story challenges the life of an ogre with no value or respect. Living in the swamp all his life, people judged Shrek as a mean, hideous creature whom nobody wanted to go near and because of this Shrek had no values of friendship. Like everybody judged Shrek, Shrek judged the donkey as one of the others.

The movie Shrek has included many well known fairytale characters along the way. This gives the story more of a fairytale genre.
