In the novel "Night" written by Elie Wiesel, a dark and angry picture is painted in your mind through the use of several literary devices. It is through dialogue, sound, and explicit narration that we as readers are able to imagine and recreate the situations being read. By the use of dialogue readers are able to understand how the characters feel and of course we know what they are saying. With the application of sound we are able to better create the situation in our minds by being able to add in the surroundings. And with narration we not only understand how the main character feels but we also are able to picture what he/she is doing along with many of the other characters involved.
