Robert Frost - The Road Not Taken
Summary: Reflects on Robert Frost's poem "The Road Not Taken", particularly the point Frost is trying to emphasize and how it can be applied to life.
I like Robert Frost's poem best. At one hand, his poems are easy to understand. At another hand, though they appear to describe very simple things, it is no doubt that they contain deeper meanings. I find his poem "The Road Not Taken" is a good example for my thoughts.
At the time of writing this poem, Frost has just gained a great fame while one of his friends got involved in the First World War. Nobody knew whether his friend is alive or not. Frost and his friend took different roads and got the different results. So Frost remembered his experience of choosing road in a forest. He wanted to tell us that in everybody's life choosing road is very important because different ways leading to different future.
