Qur'an: the Twin of Science?

In our advanced age scientific facts has rendered religious beliefs to appear as shattered fragments of illusory knowledge from the yellow pages of history. It is surprising then, to learn that one of the leading religions of our time considers science its twin sister. Islam regards the Qu'ran (Islamic Holy Book) and science as one and the same therefore confirming the authenticity of the religion. "It is impossible to explain this how a text produced in the seventh century could have contained ideas that have only been discovered in modern times," says Dr. Maurice Bucaille. The Qu'ran contains information about things such as the creation and expansion of the universe, the heavenly bodies (stars, sun, moon, and planets), and Embryology.
Many argue that the "illusions" of modern science in the Qu'ran are in fact due to the different interpretations of religious texts. This all together may be true...
