Summary: A short essay on who was to blame for the cold war.
The United states and Soviet union are both to blame for the cold war. Both countries showed no trust for the other . The two countries would deliberately flex there military muscle to scare the other. In an attempt to prove that they had more power, and more arms. The United states was fighting against communism,and the government was pro capitalism. The Soviet Union was fighting for communism and it`s government was pushing for the expansion of socialism. Nether country seemed to want to come to peace or go to war.

The soviet union and the united states met at many meetings to work out deals. The problem was that neither country trusted the other. The United States set up NATO, this was a formation of treaties with other countries that the soviets saw as a threat. The United States might not have need these treaties if...
