Canadian Morality
Summary: Issues regarding morality within the Canadian legal system.
One of the most influential concepts of Canadian society is, and always will be, the concept of morality. Those, which contribute a great deal to this concept, are pornography, prostitution and adult entertainment. At the moment each have certain limitations. Pornography is obscenity however, some pictures some may deem obscene are still published or put into movies and therefore, pornography is legal however with limitations. Prostitution is illegal, that is to say, procuring and soliciting are illegal. Adult entertainment is legal as long as one piece of clothing is being worn and sexual gratification did not occur. Canadian society seems to be becoming increasing liberal towards pornography and adult entertainment and the line being drawn is going further and further away from where it is now.
