Comparison between "Tell Tale Heart" and "Psycho"
Summary: In this essay it demonstrates the differences between "Tell Tale Heart" and "Psycho."
The "Tell Tale Heart" written by Edgar Allan Poe, and "Psycho", directed by Alfred Hitchcock are different in some aspects; the way the killers confessed to the crimes they committed and the way the killers committed the murders. The two stories are also comparable by which the way the victims were vulnerable during the attacks, the killers had clever ways of covering up the murders and both killers were mentally unstable.
The way the two suspects confessed the crimes are diverse. In the "Tell Tale Heart", after neighbors hear the shrieks, the police arrive at the house and ask the narrator what was going on and if anything was wrong. The police, satisfied with the lie that the narrator told them about where the old man was that he was supposed to take care of, stayed and struck up a conversation with the narrator.
